Terms of Service

Welcome to expense (the "Service"), developed and operated by Oneable Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). By registering, you agree to all terms below.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to register
• You are responsible for keeping your password and session credentials confidential
• One account per person — accounts must not be shared

2. Service Scope

expense is a personal financial data tracking tool, including bill splitting with friends and family. We are not a bank, not a tax advisor, and we do not transfer real money between users. The PromptPay QR feature merely generates a QR code for you to transfer through your own bank app.

3. Pro / Team Plans and Billing

• Free plan is free forever with limits (1 workspace, 100 transactions/month, 5 OCR/month)
• Pro and Team plans are paid subscriptions, billed via App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) only
• 30-day Free Trial available for Pro/Team — cancel before trial ends to avoid charges
• Cancellations / refunds are processed by Apple/Google per their respective policies
• On refund, your plan entitlement is immediately downgraded to Free

4. Your Data and Content

• All data you enter (transactions, images, projects, contacts) remains your property
• You grant us a license to store and process the data only as needed to provide the Service
• You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered; we do not verify it

4.1 Sharing projects with others (Invite link / QR)

• When you invite others to your project via link/QR, the joiner can see: project name, members, totals, transactions, and balances within that project
• Joiners have read-only access — they cannot add, edit, or delete entries
• Project data remains the property of the project owner — when the owner deletes the project, joiners lose access
• You are responsible for whom you invite — invite links/QRs can be revoked or rotated from the project screen at any time

4.2 Diagnostic Data

To fix bugs and improve stability, we automatically collect crash logs via Firebase Crashlytics, including stack traces, OS version, and device model — no financial data or other personal information is included in crash logs. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4.3 PromptPay QR

The PromptPay QR feature generates only a QR code for transfer — we do not receive, hold, or transfer real money. Transfers happen through your own banking app. We are not liable for transfer errors.

5. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for illegal activity, fraud, or money laundering
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or build bots/scrapers
• Upload illegal content or content that infringes third-party rights
• Use the Service in a way that disrupts or damages our systems

6. Termination

• You may delete your account anytime via Settings → Edit Profile → Delete Account
• We reserve the right to suspend/terminate accounts violating these Terms without notice
• After account deletion, all data is permanently removed within 30 days (except data required by law)

7. Disclaimer of Liability

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Financial losses from decisions based on data in the app
• Data loss from force majeure (despite our backups)
• Temporary service interruptions for maintenance
• Indirect damages, lost profits, or lost business opportunities

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bangkok.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email or in-app notification for material changes. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
